Arrivati con il treno a Rovigo all'ora di pranzo e prima di recarci in ispezione, io e Alessandro, il mio dirigente, per la prima volta in missione con me, ci siamo fermati alla Taverna Dante in Corso del Popolo 212.Ovviamente il locale era consigliato dalla solita guida di Michele "Osterie d'Italia".
Appena arrivati ci siamo accomodati nella prima sala , quella subito dopo il bancone di mescita. L'arredamento è di legno scuro e sui tavoli abbiamo trovato delle tovagliette di carta, tipico delle osterie. Il primo giudizio, come di consueto, è per il bagno che non mi ha lasciato soddisfatto per la poca pulizia ma almeno era ben fornito.
Per quanto riguarda il menù è molto ampio e la proposta spazia tra piatti di carne e di pesce, a partire dagli antipasti : ai salumi e prosciutto crudo si affiancano le sarde in saor, le zuppe di cozze e vongole o gli affumicati di pesce.
Io e Alessandro abbiamo scelto i tortelli con zucca e ricotta affumicata veramente eccezionali mentre abbiamo evitato i secondi per affrontare leggeri il pomeriggio lavorativo.
Come dolce da segnalare un fantastico sorbetto al caffè.
Concludo consigliando, per chi si trova a Rovigo, di fermarsi all'osteria Taverna Dante per l'ottimo cibo.
